Sisters-in-law, Claire and Gillian, are the dynamic team behind the new annabella maternity range. When Claire became pregnant with her first baby, she realised there was a need for maternity clothes that still made you feel gorgeous - right down to your underwear!
Then when Anna was born, beautiful, practical breastfeeding clothes and clothing that fitted the post partum figure were essential but not available. So Claire decided to take a break from the advertising world and team up with talented clothing designer, Gillian, to create the annabella maternity range.
It is a perfect fit with Gill's own bella G range of lingerie, sleepwear and occassionwear. She is a qualified clothing designer with 20 years of design and manufacturing experience, so you can be sure that the garments are made from quality fabrics with meticulous attention to detail, comfort and fit. With Gillian currently being pregnant herself (with only a couple weeks to go), the range is now even more inspired than before!
About our Range
annabella maternity will keep you looking stylish and feeling beautiful throughout your pregnancy and into motherhood. Our designs are feminine, yet comfortable, as well as incredibly versatile. You will find that your favourite styles will flatter you during your pregnancy, look great afterwards... and allow for easy and discreet breastfeeding!
We have focused on a range that will help you create many looks from one garment as well as take you from day into evening and from season to season. Looking pretty on the outside is not all we have thought of – we have designed a full range of underwear and sleepwear that will make you feel gorgeous and sexy – and others will think so too!
The annabella maternity range is manufactured in our design studio in Cape Town. We are proudly South African and support local industry and job creation. Great care goes into ensuring that each garment is of a high standard, technically crafted for ease and comfort during pregnancy & breastfeeding...and made with love.
We have also carefully selected perfect gift solutions for mom and baby - whether it be for a babyshower, congratulatory set or something really special with which to treat yourself. All our gifts can come beautifully packaged with a hand written personalised message, if you wish.
Being a one-stop pregnancy and breastfeeding shop we have partnered with some of the best brands in the world to fulfill your needs during this important time. To enhance your pregnancy experience we have introduced a lifestyle and health component including a once a month prenatal yoga workshop.
